One thing about living in Oahu is the many friends that come in and out of our lives. There are 3 military bases on Oahu which means, lots of military families and their kids entering the schools system. My oldest daughter (the one in the white t-shirt) is one of the friendly ones and is always the first to introduce herself to the new kid in school. Friendships forged and explored in a few short months, hanging out, going to the movies, getting ice cream and you can’t help but get close. But as life goes on and happens, military families will leave island for their next assignment, sooner or later and hopefully friendships will last the distance and be nurtured through email, text and maybe Instagram. I brought my daughter and her BFF along for an impromptu photo shoot to remember each other with these fun memories. Summer is coming and a new chapter awaits with both starting the next school year as high school freshman in different states and different time zones….. (sad face). …
One thing about having a pro photographer for a mom is you always look great in photos and feeling comfortable in front of the camera is second nature…. that’s my girl! She’s smiling all the time because she recently got her braces off!!
I love this one!
So pretty!!
What a fun morning… but holy cow, it was windy!!! We sure are gonna miss you, but wish you nothing but the best!!! Warmest Aloha, ~j
