Branden’s mom and dad called me up and let me in on a little plan that their son Branden had been strategizing. The whole family, siblings and partners, were coming to Oahu for some family fun and Branden wanted to propose to his beautiful, beloved Becca while here. Naturally, I wanted in. I love surprises! It was settled right with that phone call that I was going to be instrumental to the plan and was I excited! I love photography. I am so blessed it has led me to some fabulous people from all over the world and mainland USA. When I have an opportunity to photograph a surprise proposal, to document through my images, the beginning chapters of two souls joining as one… well, I am just incredibly honored and humbled to be able to do this. The plan was set. We were to meet just before sunset and move forward with our family photo session…. take a few snaps of the entire family and then break out our session into individual couples. Of course, Becca and Branden would be the first couple to start off the “individual couples” phase of our “family session”. Becca was game…. Branden was ready.
After some warm up shots, Brendan was ready….. Becca was surprised… there were a lot of great moments here… hard to decide what to show on my little blog…
… and she said “Yes!” What a beautiful moment!
Becca was in total shock… because soon after the proposal, we went into Engagement Photo Shoot Mode….
They are beautifully sweet together.
The sun was going down quick and I really wanted to capture these beautiful moments together.
