I woke up Saturday morning and it was overcast and really drizzling. I had to drive into Waikiki to document this loving fantastic group of women who were sending off one of their sisters to the mainland. I prayed that the drizzling would let up and hoping that the clouds would part in Waikiki. The wind was blowing, parting the clouds and the ladies just rocked out their sassy but most of all, they rocked out their love for each other. A big thank you to Cindy for coordinating all these amazing women!
This beautiful lady will be leaving for the mainland soon to start the next chapter in her life. She leaves a little bit of her heart with each of her Ohana sisters. Just love the naturalness of her ease in this photo.
We started the morning at Kapi’olani Beach Park past Waikiki… a great big park with views of Diamond Head in the background. These ladies were full of laughter and hugs. They joined hands and each had a beautiful thought to share with their sister.
Circle of hands, circle of love, circle of sisters.
She was touched by all the love.
Thank you ladies for spending your morning with me at Kapi’olani Beach Park and allowing me to witness the deep love that entwines all of you. Best wishes to all of you Sister Ohana in every path you take! Much Aloha, ~jennifer
