Last NOLA post as this is my last day of vacay… I’ll be resuming my family sessions this weekend and I’m really excited to get back into what I love the most… Anyways, all these images David captured while inspecting the levees there. He has a Canon 7D and is now officially a camera snob 🙂 Joke! The above image is Port Sulphur at the Gulf of Mexico. You might be asking if he got to see any of the oil spills… because I kept asking him too. The answer is no.. he was up too far north from the spills.
But on one of his last days there, he and his crew were in Venice and Governor Bobby Jindal held an impromptu press conference. David fit in as he was one of the guys with a big camera, so he muscled his way in there and perched himself pretty close to the governor.
This is a gorgeous view of a hurricane levee opposite the Mississippi River. The levee protects Plaquimines Parish from potential storm surges.

Harbor in Venice at night…
At the end of the Mississippi at high tide…
I hope I’ve given you just a flavor of New Orleans, Louisiana… they need our vacation dollars more than anything right now… so if you want a fantastic time with great food at a location rich in tradition, culture and gentility, put New Orleans at the top of your list.
I noticed in my last post, I closed with a “Happy Friday, Folks”… my mind is spinning and I lost a few days there…. so really, thanks for stopping by, I love that you do!
Have a great weekend!
xo,
