I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. Mine was. It’s one out of two times of the year where I can kick my feet back and David takes care of everything. A day when I can say, “Go ask your dad” and not feel guilty about it and where David will gladly fulfill his duties. The kids were happy with cereal for lunch (see above) and dad was happy to oblige. I woke up to breakfast in bed with my favorite morning drink, lots of handwritten cards, love notes, kisses and hugs. I hope the kids continue this as they get older.
I had some “Jenn time” and was out the door for a rejuvenating morning run. It was brisk out, but it was the perfect weather for a run.
They had gifted me a beautiful spa basket, so when I got back from my run, I was able to indulge and luxuriate 🙂
I took my time, listened to music and got ready for my day of doing absolutely nothing. I had a hard time doing nothing and ended up helping Marlena with a school project.
My favorite eats is sushi… my wish was their command…off we went to Mikuni’s…one of the best places in my neighborhood…
Me with my most favorite girls in the world and the best husband in the world behind the camera. Thank you for a relaxing weekend!! Loads of laundry to do today, pfhtt!!
Thanks for visiting today, have a great Monday!
