There is a place in Waikiki that I love to go to right at the beach’s edge. RumFire at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. A beautiful open air bar overlooking infamous Waikiki Beach. Perfect for drinks and a light dinner. I recently took my family for an evening in Waikiki and we just hung out at RumFire. I took photos of our dinner, but there just wasn’t enough light to make everything look appetizing, so you are going to have to take my word for it. They re-worked the menu and it’s pretty darn good. I love the Vietnamese sandwich and the salads are pretty tasty. The Kalua Pork Nachos are pretty good also and the delicious Truffle Burger! Check out the menu on their website to see if anything appeals to you, but when we go, we always try to get a few dishes and split them amongst ourselves so we can try everything, tasty and fun!!
You can sit inside or out. Here’s a view of Diamond Head if you sit on the east side… can you imagine yourself? Tropical breezes and a cocktail. Just relaxing.
If you are staying in Waikiki, RumFire is a sure bet to enjoy company, good drinks, good food, tropical breezes and a gorgeous view. Sitting is self-serve and it tends to get crowded right about dinner time, so expect to be racing over to an open table to grab a spot. Friday’s and Saturday’s feature live entertainment with local musicians. Families are welcome as they have a children’s menu with all the basics to satisfy your kids. It really is one of my favorite places in Waikiki to hang out… since we live here, it’s a nice little evening getaway.
