Redlands Photographer in Oceanside
My husband and I recently went on a little roadtrip to Oceanside to check out the beach and little town. I’m learning that it is always a few degrees colder than the inland towns when you reach the coast… but I’m not so sure of it because I’ve been to Laguna Beach and I was roasting over there. As always, I came way under dressed and cold! I’ve not yet adjusted to the weather here in SoCal to that of Hawaii. Anyways, I took a few shots with my film camera. Aren’t those cute little bungalows?

Doesn’t it look cold? I was cold. My husband kindly let me borrow his sweater and I was still freezing… it was about 65 degrees and windy! I made it halfway out, not even close to the shore and I came running back to the car. Now I know you are reading this, shaking your head, but you have to know that my blood was made for the tropics so it’s going to take me awhile. One thing I love to do is take pictures of the ocean. I have a picture library full of ocean photos, almost entirely of Hawaii… so here’s my chance to stock it up with some California beaches.

The beach wasn’t crowded. I think everyone was thinking what I was thinking, too cold to come out and enjoy. Yes, I am a big cry baby. I am the first to admit it. 🙂

Not only do I enjoy photographing families, but in general, I love photography period. As my children get older, they prefer to stay home so it’s sad to say, but pictures with them in it also become far and few between. How many families can say that with high schoolers at home? Who agrees?
Portrait Photographer for Families
My feelings are mixed. I would love for them to come and spend time with but it’s also nice just to have the alone and quiet time with just my husband and I. We can do what we want without having to accommodate the kids… I have three kids, ages 18, 16 and 14. I remember the days of being a young mother with young babies and lugging them everywhere! LOL
I just took a few photos as the sky got dark really quick and it was time to drive back home.
