Q Day 63: Don’t you wish you could be somewhere else but here, wherever that is, just for 5 minutes? Lately, yes. I mean, I am grateful I’m with my little family, happy, healthy, fed and comfortable. Our circumstances would be entirely different and difficult had we stayed in Hawaii at this time, so I am grateful to be in Redlands, California.

But, I day dream to be sitting on the beach again with the hustle and bustle of beach life swirling around me with the trade wind breezes cooling me slightly, listening to the peaceful whooshing of the tides.

The salty smell of the ocean, the cheerful splashes of the kids chasing the tides and the palm trees swaying in the distance, watching the sun set. These are the things I miss the most. Seems like another time in a distant world. With Covid-19, the world is changing and it is changing too quickly.
