Christine asked me to photograph her lovely family a couple of months ago and I was very flattered that she asked. I met Christine when we were little girls way back in the day… and as most childhood friendships go, we grow up, lose contact and start up our families. As luck would have it, we met up again at our 20th high school reunion and with this little thing called Facebook, we were able to reconnect from afar. Christine brought her son Eric and her daughter Alyssa…
grandpa and grandma came along for the ride and we were able to sneak a few shots of them for good measure…
I always put my images in a slideshow and the hardest part for me is coming up with an appropriate song choice. I always ask my clients what they like and as always, they give me suggestions. Christine took this to heart. I’m happy she did.
Christine and her family have gone through a lot this year and she emailed me to express that. She didn’t have a specific song to offer but did request that it have to do with love and family.
As the one holding the camera… I see the evidence of love in her family. It’s not Eric, Alyssa or Christine individually, but it’s all of them who contribute in their own way to show each other how much they love each other. I don’t think they are aware of it… but I saw it.. definitely.
Lots of patience, hugs, kisses on the cheeks…. Alyssa just stole the show here… and Eric, he’s a cool big brother…
I love this one. Mom and daughter = happiness. Makes me happy.
Well Christine, after searching high and low… I hope I chose a song that says it all…. I had a wonderful time with you all and I hope you continue to make family memories together…
