Northern California Photographer | Veera Yoga, Roseville

I have been practicing yoga on and off for about 2 years now.  Too busy with 3 little kids to come out of my house, I practiced at home to DVD’s.  For the last 6 months, I’ve been more serious about yoga, practicing at home almost everyday.  Until now…. I pushed myself outside the comfort of my own home and decided to join a studio.  I’m in love  with Veera Yoga in Roseville, CA.  The studio is beautiful, instantly inviting when you walk in, wrapping you with the interiors warm, vibrant earthy jewel tones.  I’ve been going, faithfully,  for a month now and it’s been the best decision I’ve made for myself.

The instructors are AH-MAZING!  Everyone is very helpful, friendly,  warm and encouraging.  Vinyasa Flow Yoga has helped me become more centered… I’m more present, more conscience of my food choices because I’m feeling great… Every morning my body wants to go to Veera Yoga.  That lovely lady up there is Gangotri, the proprietress of Veera Yoga.  She’s really knowledgeable and at times she’ll be practicing yoga right beside you.  She’s living her dream… That screams… awesome-ness!

See what I mean about AH-MAZING?  I am no where at that level where I’m balancing my entire body on my two hands… but I know with their guidance and my willingness to practice, in time I may get there… but it’s all about the journey to getting there that I’m excited about.  If you are thinking about having a more healthier, more active lifestyle… please think about yoga.  Just come in and start anywhere… like anything, you may not be able to touch your toes the very first time, but just like running, you can’t expect to run 5 miles on your first run out.  Yoga is a discipline and you have to stick with it to see results… and believe me, I sweat about a pound of water weight every time I go… and even after a month of dedicated practice in a studio, I have seen the results within my own body.  I believe in yoga THAT much!

Veera Yoga has a special class for kids right now called what else but Kid’s Yoga… it starts next week… I would really recommend Yoga to not only YOU, but your kids as well… the benefits are huge.
