It was early… and it was on a Friday… but we managed to bring on the charm and have some fun…. I love the families that I meet… the kids, the mom’s and dad’s.. sooo much history, love, giggles. This family was no exception.
Someone asked me the other day… do you do it for the money or do you do it because you love it? Without hesitation, I said I do it because I love it with a passion… there is something that I feel when I capture my families, the kids, the brides, the groom’s, the love… it’s all the same. Sometimes, it’s new love, passionate, ooey, gooey…. sometimes it’s the unspoken love between siblings… big sister, little brother….
Sometimes it’s comfortable love… year’s as husband and wife, a mom and dad building a home, a love that holds everyone together….
I don’t know… it’s really a love and ease that develops in front of my camera between a family, the hugs, the squeezes, the smiles, the look in the eyes…. it’s really just beautiful. That’s what I love to photograph, the beauty that is in love. The Carr’s were the perfect example of all these things….
…. a gentle ease, comfort, knowing looks from one another, each one getting the inside joke… this is what I adore.. so for me, no, it’s not about the money, it’s about a love of capturing the love that envelops one another…. I’ll let these images speak for themselves.
Thank you Carr’s for spending your morning with me.. it was Grand!
