Maternity Photoshoots in Redlands | I get asked a lot which is better, a studio maternity photoshoot or an outdoor maternity photo session. My honest answer is that it is totally up to you. Each offers different things. I have a very small, cozy studio that offers a very intimate experience with privacy and comfort. If you want to show off that belly with sexy lingerie, this is the setting to do it. If you are more shy and not comfortable with a public setting, the studio setting will offer you the private setting versus an outdoor park location. I have ladies that want to wear their partners big white shirts and a pretty bra and panties or a pretty bra with unbuttoned jeans and no shoes… my studio and I are here for it! If this is your first baby, this may be the only chance for you to do a maternity photoshoot like this.
Redlands Maternity Photos, Studio and Outdoor Locations
If you have a family and you want to mix up your maternity photo shoot with your family, then I would suggest an outdoor session. The little ones want to run around and you can get more candid shots with them and your belly. Outdoor locations lends itself to more connection with your growing family and partner as you aren’t confined to a small space- although, if you like that small space to get a little closer that’s good too. Also, the outdoor nature background can give some color and personality to your maternity portraits. Flowy dresses calls for outdoor sessions… although, there is no hard and fast rule… if you want to photograph out in nature in your intimates, I’m your photographer! I’m down. If you want your flowy dress in the studio, totally can do! It really is up to you.

Do I provide make up, hair and wardrobe? I do not, I provide pose guidance, location and photographic skill. All my ladies in front of my camera (believe it or not) have purchased their flowy dresses from Amazon. I think it’s great because you get to choose for yourself, fit, color, look and if you can return it with no problems. Just search up “photoshoot maternity dresses” on Amazon and you have a ton of options. I have 30 minutes packages that begin at $185 and 60 minute packages that begin at $350. Send me inquiry!
