Rusly emailed me to say “I got your name from Googling about good photographs in Honolulu during our Holiday next week… amazing what the internet can do now…” Immediately, I was intrigued. Who was this and where were they going to be flying in from? Not only that, but if this was a way to shake my hand over email, he also gave me a warm smile through the internet. Yes Rusly! The internet IS amazing and I am incredibly blessed that my name popped up on your screen all the way in Jakarta, Indonesia. After a few exchanges, I was really excited to meet them for our family photo session near Kahala Resort.
They were jet lagged from there 16 hour flight from Jakarta, Indonesia, you’d never know it. They were ready to give me their sweetest. I really enjoyed photographing them. Their little boy is the cutest and I love the way they are at ease and relaxed with each other. Exactly the kind of family I love to photograph. They were natural’s!
How cute is their son? He’s the perfect combination of both mom and dad’s features. This family photo session was really for him. Rusly shared with me through our correspondence that it was time that they got some professional portraits with their son. I’m so honored to do this for them.
