Hope you all had a blessed and Merry Christmas. It was our first Christmas in Hawaii and it was quiet.. missing family and friends that should MOVE their tushies over here to keep us company. Needless to say, Santa made his way to our home and showered the keiki’s with gifts.
One thing that I promised my kids when we moved here is that we would do everything possible to keep in touch with their friends in California. Marlena’s best friend was vacationing in Kauai and naturally we had to make their play day happen. And so it was said…. and so it shall be… we managed to make it work and it brought great joy to my heart that I was able to make it happen for my daughter. One thing I have stressed to my keiki’s since being here in Hawaii is that the stuff we have is not really important but rather the time and experiences we share with those that matter most should be the most important. For me, it’s my family. My husband and my kids. Of course, my mom and dad, brother and Uncle Jay and Hilary and their daughter Halee mean the most as well… but in time, they will move here too… I’m planning and scheming… And so it is said… and so it shall be…
Thanks for a great time in Kauai Kaylee!
Much Aloha,
