I met his mom, Valerie, through Facebook. Oddly enough, we graduated from the same high school, one year apart, but never met. She loved these photos that she saw on the wall and decided to send me a message to take Senior Photos of her son Brandon. We were finally able to have the session, but I was bummed because I STILL haven’t met Valerie in person. One day, I hope to…. Her eldest son is graduating in a few months and his grandmother was nice enough to come with.
Brandon is tall (6’3″), dark and handsome and very much a very cool eighteen year old. He has a sincere, go with the flow attitude, but for the life of me wouldn’t give me a smile, no matter how nicely I asked on behalf of his mom, so I did my best and I was happy to catch this one. I have no idea what we were talking about or how I could have been so lucky.
It was a quick session as with any 18 year old, he had a busy schedule and needed to get to work. Valerie, grandma and Brandon, it was a pleasure spending some time and thank you for letting me photograph your graduating senior….

The street shot is off the chain!
I’ve said it before, but you have such a gift. I knew I’d love the pictures, but I didn’t expect to cry when I saw the video. I’ll cherish this for as long as I live. Thank you so much for taking pictures of my Brandon for such a special time in his life.
The third is amazing! Great stuff, Jen!
