When I was in LaQuinta during Easter weekend I met up with this lovely family. They came all the way from Indiana to visit with their Mimi and Grandpa and asked that I photograph them. Wow, it was a pleasure. The sun was just right and they were up for some fun, some hugging, some squeezing, and just all around being together as a family. I absolutely thrive off of these moments. I can still hear the sound of Ted laughing as he held on to his wife as I asked him to whisper some “sweet nothin’s” in her ear and how she giggled and laughed.
…and this little lovely, still a bit unsure but taking it all in stride….
with her big sis… caught in a moment of being together, two lovely sisters….
It was really a fun little slice of afternoon full of smiles, love, hugs and laughs…. my favorite kind of afternoon…
Thank you for the pleasure of your company!!

I am still trying to figure out which pictures are my favorite. Your creative use of the light and angles have really opened up my eyes on how to try different things with the camera. The afternoon shoot was a lot of fun. Thanks!
I really, really love that last one in front of the tree. The light is gorgeous 🙂
I love that you have three generations in your photographs. The b&w is my favorite…love the lighting and wispy hair.
What a wonderful experience this was! We so appreciated the natural, creative way Jennifer approached the photos. She took such joy in taking these photos that it made it easy for everyone. We now have a wonderful memory of our beautiful family.
