Quarantine Day 32… How’s everyone? We are doing good. I’ve been using Instacart for all my grocery shopping and delivery to curb my anxiety, it’s been my saving grace. My primary concern is keeping myself and my family safe and my mental health, well… healthy! If it means paying a little extra and buying a little less, we will make due. On another note, I’ve been baking herb bread every morning, but will start making sourdough bread as yeast is scarce now! Yikes! Lots of people finding comfort in baking, myself included! I’ve been making the same herb bread now for at least 10 years now. I will share that recipe soon. Found this easy 5 ingredient recipe on Tik Tok the other day… it calls for chocolate chips but I didn’t have any. I crumbled a few oreo cookies in the mix instead and it came out pretty good! Needless to say, they didn’t last long! My kids loved it. Gotta love Tik Tok, lol. 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking soda and 1/4- 1/2 cup oreo cookie crumble (or chocolate chips). Bake at 350 8-10 minutes.
