He whispered in my ear, “Don’t worry, I’ll always take care of you.” That’s what he said when we married and that’s what he said when he decided to take another job opportunity, almost two weeks ago. He’s a perfectionist, so very smart and good at what he does for his profession. Spoiled for 10 years with a 5 minute commute, now a new chapter in our book. The first day, thirty miles away, 30 minutes there and back. We woke up together bright and early so that he could beat the traffic and get back early to spend time with the kids, our family. I could have went back to sleep, but we’re in this together, so we are up as early as the wild turkeys in the ravine.
Good luck on BOTH of your new journeys! Happy Mother’s Day too 🙂
