Hi there! I take so many photos, it’s not even funny. If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I photograph my own personal photos of my own life with film. Good old fashioned film with my 35mm film camera. Not digital. Why? Well, there is a lot of behind the computer stuff going on to make those digital photos bloom and come alive and when you have booked a photo session with me, it’s part of the deal. If I had to do that with my own personal photos, I honestly would not have any memories of my family, they would be sitting in my computer waiting for me to make them bloom and come alive and I simply don’t have the time… I have paying clients that demand my time and attention (and I am totally thankful for that). Anyway, here’s some random film photos of my personal life out and about Oahu, I’d thought I’d share them with you. Be sure to check out some of these places on your next vacation to Oahu. Above is Pua’ena Point in the North Shore.
My husband, my son and his friend up in the tree in Haleiwa.
We saw about 7 honu (sea turtles) basking along the shore. Very Cool.
My son (in the red) and his buddy. Where there are trees, they will be climbed.
My girlies.
At the harbor. If you’d like to see more of my film work around Oahu, you can check them out here, here, here and here.
Just a little glimpse of our weekend, file this one under “Things to do on Oahu”. Warmest Aloha, ~j
