When my family first arrived to our temporary apartment about 2 hours after we got off the plane from California, the first person to say hello to us was Jonathan. A local guy with California ties, Jonathan offered us a smiling face a “Welcome to Hawaii” and at times a serenade with his ukelele. Little things go a long way, especially to us “fresh off the plane” mainlanders. We were his downstairs neighbors for about a couple of months. I told him to give me a holler when he and his wife Renee were ready to get in front of my camera.
I was really happy to hear from Jonathon when he told me the time was now. He and Renee are expecting a little girl right in time for Christmas. Can you imagine what this little girl is going to look like? STUNNING. Absolutely STUNNING. Yes?
They were giddy with excitement when we met for our photo session at Ko Olina. We met a little before sunset and the scenery was perfect, just like Renee. Beautiful Renee!! Glowing!
She was very cute as she was walking up in full baby bump glory.
The sun was setting and it was perfect.
Jonathan and Renee, thank you for coming out to Ko Olina, taking some beach photo’s and hanging out with me and my family. Had a great time! Congratulations on your o’hana!! Much Aloha, ~j
