John contacted me back in early June asking me if I’d be available in early November. He happened to have googled “best O’ahu photographer” and WAPOW! I showed up on the page. AWESOOOOME! Seems that John has been planning for months to propose to his girlfriend Gloria and he was going to hold on to this secret until the day came. He was planning a quick little getaway to Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu. He was going to propose and an engagement photo session on the beach was going to commemorate the celebration- icing on the cake, riiiiight!!? I must say… John had thought of everything! We kept in touch through email and June passed, July passed, August, September, October and finally November!
November came, they landed from the East Coast, they got settled at the resort, he popped the question and she said “YES!” What a great start to a little paradise getaway in Hawaii. I had only communicated with John through email, text and once on the phone, so it was great to finally meet him and his lucky bride to be. Cute couple, yes? Gloria was so excited.. she was so surprised with everything AND it was her first time on a long plane ride… 11 hours! What a special weekend…. I have a feeling the 11 hours were worth it!
