It’s a great time to be alive… I mean, the technology and at your fingertips! I still remember the phones with the rotary dial hanging on the wall with the knarly curly coil that connected the handpiece to the wall unit. How many of you are old enough to remember that? Oh and forget about it if you messed up on dialing on that round dial, because you’d had to start ALL over again! You’d have to click on the hang up button and wait for a dead dial to click back on again before you could dial. I have recurrent nightmares about dialing my husband on that ancient equipment and also being so frustrated because I could never get past the third digit without making a mistake and having to start all over again. Then in my dream, he’d walk in the room and I’d be so relieved to see him and I’m all “You just don’t realize what I’ve been going through with this darn phone! I’m so glad you’re here, I’ve been trying to dial your number for the past hour!” and he’s all “Get a grip.” Yeah, it went like that. Thank goodness technology is what it is! Which brings me to this bad boy, my new phone. I’m finally up with technology… it’s sad when I see my high school babysitters with one of these and I’m all, “you’re so cool”. Can you say phone envy? I was really sad to leave my old provider because I think they were the best… and I probably will be sad that I made the switch so soon, because in a few months time, what with all the rumors of the current carrier and what not…but it’s not a discussion for here. Anyway.

my favorite app is cardstar…it holds all your info for all those keychain cards you need now. and weight watchers is good too. have to pay for online though. i love my iphone had one since the day they came out!
oh bestcamera is great for facebook uploads, and knocking video is very very cool! you can share video at that moment with anyone with an iphone. my sister in pa has one and i live in sc, so she knocked and i saw in live video her kids and dog. no sound though!
Oh My, I do remember those phones!! Should I really admit that I am that old? I can’t really share any apps cause I don’t have the phone. Wish that I did though! LOL! Have fun with it!
I jumped into the iPhone world last summer and have been addicted since. There are so many awesome apps – for kids too. My 15 month old loves playing with my iPhone and having video clips (including Elmo episodes) goes a long way 🙂 Enjoy!

My niece loves the balloon game! Shazaam is a very cool app, and I think the basic DL is free. I Can Has Cheeseburger is hilarious. reMovem free is a good time killer. Congrats on your new toy! 🙂

Tide App… but only if you live at the beach… I love to know when low tide is.

I remember the old rotary phones. I think that my parents still have one. I love my iPhone!!! I have so many apps. I just got one called Livestrong. It’s a calorie counter and fitness journal. I really like it. I have lots of apps to entertain small children, though I don’t have small children anymore but my friends do. For weather, Weather Eye is the best. I have lots of recipe apps and games also. You have to get Shazam! It’s so much fun! My Adam is the expert on apps and iPods; he probably has some pretty cool ones.
Scott loves his new iPhone. I think he has a new love. I am just 2nd in line now.

I personally love the Photoshop app, it’s free and easy to use to do a quick alter to your photos. I also enjoy causeworld everytime you get close enough to a store you open up the app which finds your location then you check into a store and you collect karmas. Then you can use those karmas to donate to causes such as clean water or helping haiti and the company donates Money to those causes. I also like bejeweled because it’s a fun and quick game you can play whenever.

I dont have an iPhone. But I do remember my father working for AT&T wireless a loooong time ago. I would carry this bag that felt like a ton of bricks…. It was a mobile phone!
