On a personal note, I photograph a lot. I love the families that I meet and Jennifer Brotchie Photography is my full time job/career. It’s not a part time gig that I do on the side. My photography is truly my passion. Recently, I discovered my love for film photography and instant photography. I have always loved film, but felt intimidated by it. My husband has always had a deep interest in it as well. I would scour the internet for hours and swoon over how beautiful the images were in comparison to digital. With some thoughtful discussion, my husband and I decided that we would explore film photography and hone our skills to one day shoot hybrid professionally: both digital and film. We have the best models for our film exploration, our kids!
These were all taken with Ektar Film on our Mamiya 645AFD. Pretty much sent to the developing lab and this is the result.. no photo shopping and I love it! Film photography will push my husband and I to be better photographer’s and I am really excited to push myself every time I’m behind the camera.
