Lauren and Scott are a beautiful couple, together since high school. Lauren is Miss Hawaii 2011 and currently Hawai’i State House Representative for the 45th District of Hawaii. Scott is her full time super hero O’ahu firefighter and rock. Both passionate about serving the community. They love together and have fun together! They requested an engagement session at the 50th State Fair Carnival. I am used to photographing at the beach.. it’s in my comfort zone. Who doesn’t like beach photo’s? Life long O’ahu residents, the beach is over-rated… beach, smeach. Lauren and Scott wanted to go somewhere that shouts their fun, lively, full of love and laughter personalities so it was no question we were going to the carnival. Well.. alrighty… LET’S DO THIS! I’m so glad they asked, because I pushed my creativity and and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity! There were so many great images to choose from…

I love all the bright, vibrant colors that come with a carnival.. I love Lauren’s super cute shorts and top… so totally appropriate!
